Assemble The Mini DIY Dremel
Working in small areas on small train and scenic pieces, a full-sized Dremel or any rotary tool can be a bit much. Even on low power an average sized rotary tool can be pretty powerful, sometimes too powerful.
In 2019 I bought a small DC motor kit from Amazon that came with a decent looking little chuck and a few accessories. It was one of those “It’s only a few bucks, why not?” purchases. Well this little afterthought purchase turned out to be a favorite tool of mine.
I think a bearing is going / has gone out on this motor so I just picked up the same kit. 7 years later and it’s actually a few cents less than it was in 2019! Since I enjoy this tool so much, I thought you might too.
